Generation “J” - That’s who you want to target!

I chuckled after reading these industry charts. Though useful, I couldn’t help but wonder what’s going to happen after “Generation Z” is established and moves on. Will we be going back to Generation “A” and go down the alphabet from there?
And once we reach Generation “X” again will they be “Generation XX” or “Generation X - Revisited”? In either case marketers need to be looking 300 years from now and target “Generation J”.
That’s who you want to go after to stay ahead of the curve. ;O)

Why Even bother with Social Media?

So I put together a Top Ten List of why I use Social Media as a business owner.
I have photography business here in Los Angeles and I use various means to get my message across. LinkedIn, MySpace, YouTube, Twitter are just examples of what I use, but why do I use them?  http://raysme.blog.com

Welcome…I guess this is where it starts….

I’m starting this blog in the hopes of helping people and companies understand the value of Social Media and help them bring their messages across to the public.

As I come across links to articles that I believe will bring value to your business I will post them here.

I think Social Media, when used to improve a company’s or a person’s image or “brand”, can help people better understand a company and how a company can better understand the people they serve.

The media is clearly in the hands of the public. “Buyer Beware” has turned to “Supplier Beware”. But even this phrase has negative connotations to it. I think both the buyer and the supplier can work hand in hand to help each other. Social media is way to bridge any gap between the two.
